At the 22nd Third Eye Asian Film Festival, held in Mumbai and Thane from 9 to 15 January 2026, Santosh Davakhar shared the Best Director award in the Contemporary Marathi Cinema Competition for Gondhal with Rohan Kanawade for Sabar Bonda.
