Best Director at the Pune International Film Festival

Santosh Davakhar won the Best Director award for Gondhal in the Marathi Competition at the 24th Pune International Film Festival in January 2026.

The jury’s citation read: “With a distinct cinematic vision and strong narrative command, Santosh Davakhar delivers a compelling directorial achievement.”
